B. 149 Hanger Epoxy Floors

Sheela, Inc. successfully undertook a comprehensive project involving the removal of existing paint from the hanger floor and the application of a high-quality epoxy coating over an impressive 56,650 SF. To ensure minimal disruption to daily operations, the work was strategically performed in phases. The existing floor underwent thorough shot blasting to eliminate paint, debris, and grease, ensuring a clean surface for the next steps. Following the meticulous preparation, a durable 2-coat epoxy system was installed, achieving a consistent thickness of 10 mils throughout. Additionally, vibrant black and yellow markings were applied to the walkways for safety and visibility. The entire perimeter block walls were also revitalized with a coat of primer and two coats of paint, enhancing the aesthetics and durability over 33,150 SF.

Runway 0624 - Acres of Tree Clearing - Fort Dix

Sheela, Inc. executed a comprehensive land clearing project at Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, effectively managing the removal of vegetation across 78 acres. The work included the clearing of trees, brush, and debris, as well as the extraction of stumps in targeted areas such as behind building 74201, the Land Navigation area, and various locations adjacent to the main runway. This extensive project was meticulously planned and completed within the timeframe of October 1st, 2022, to March 31st, 2023. All felled trees were not only removed but also mulched and disposed of off-site to ensure sustainable practices. Furthermore, to promote new growth, all cleared areas were thoughtfully seeded with grass. Sheela, Inc. remains committed to delivering quality environmental stewardship on every project.

Tanks 718 and 946 Painting Dovre AFB

This project was executed by Sheela, Inc. and involved a complete overhaul of the access and safety equipment on the tank exteriors. Key elements included the full replacement of the exterior ladder and roof hatch to align with the latest AWWA recommendations. We replaced corroded electrical conduits and protection anodes, and we created a fenced-off area during the sandblasting of both the exterior and interior tanks to remove paint and corrosion. After thorough cleanup and inspection, we applied one coat of primer followed by a new paint finish. Additionally, we repainted the water level equipment for accurate measurements and installed a protective screen at the tank outflow to deter wildlife intrusion.
